All of the care & training that it took to make each Pet a Great Family Member is done by loving volunteers!

Many Shelter rescues have to go into isolation and be put on medications and taken to the vet to be ready for adoption and to be safe around other pets.

We also get in puppies directly from animal control and they tell us what the mom

was (if she was there) and what the dad was (if that info. is available). Often that info.  is not available and the shelter or animal control tells us what they think the litter or dog is mixed with. Unless we have a dog that an owner released to us with it papers, than we can not quarantee breed or size. We make an estimated guess and go with what they do indeed look like or such traits as webbed toes etc. We appreciate your consideration in adopting a rescued pet - sometimes we know what the mom is - but not even our vet can tell what the dad(s) were - than we just tell you - your guess is as good as ours.
